Dashboard layout messed up right after install

  • Hello,

Right after having installed wordpress on my site, the dashboard display is messed up. That makes it impossible to use.

    Here is a screenshot:

As you can notice it’s not even possible to read what is written because the backgroud color is the same as the font color. I has to make a selection to make it readable:

while the blog itself displays correctly at

I think this is related to handling of CSS stylesheet of something like that in the /wp-admin/ dir.

Here is my config: Firefox 2.0, wordpress 2.0.5 running on apache 1.3.37.

    Regards,
    Fred

  • Tried re-uploading the /wp-admin folder?

Well done. I just can’t believe it was that simple.
I tried to upload back everything but it didn’t fix the problem.
Then by re-uploading just the /wp-admin dir it was fixed.

Thank you very much samboll !
