# Dashboard is bare

 * I just reset my password and now I don’t have anything in my dashboard. It is
   bare. No post, pages, themes, widgets, no editing capabilities.
 * I also get ” You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page. ” When
   I login to my localhost 8888.
 * What happened? Please HelP Newbie.

 * Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s
   folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name.
 * – Resetting the plugins folder by renaming the folder “plugins” to “plugins.hold”&
   creating new folder called “plugins”

 * I have no tabs in the dashboard to edit or rename. Will your way help?
 * I have seen others comments that have uninstalled and reinstalled.
