Hi @gattringerot and @carer,
Possible causes are:
1) Browser issue – clear all cookies and cache. Disable all browser extensions. Or, try a different browser with all history cleared and browser extensions disabled.
2) If your server uses OPcache then flush the OPcache cache.
3) Your theme or another plugin is causing a JavaScript conflict

When you have the “Console” tab open look for any errors. If you see errors then that may be an indication that your theme or another plugin is loading JavaScript on Wordfence admin pages when it shouldn’t do that. You can switch to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Seventeen and see if that fixes it. If not, deactivate all plugins except Wordfence. If that resolves it enable plugins one by one until the fault appears again and you will know which plugin is the culprit and you can ask that plugin author to fix their code.
