• I’m using WordPress to run one of my websites. Today, the dashboard widgets that depend on a feed stopped working (WordPress Development Blog, Other WordPress News, Plug-ins) – they just show the title bar and the white space underneath doesn’t expand at all because there is no data. No errors or anything.

Also, I’ve been upgrading WP using the auto-upgrade fine but now that I try re-installing the latest verion (after I noticed this problem), it hangs on “downloading.”

The admin plug-in install tool does work properly.

Any thoughts on what could be causing this? I don’t recall adding any plug-ins between when this was working and when it wasn’t. I’ve tried disabling most of them and no luck.

  • I have the precise same problems. Have now tried to solve them for some time, but can’t seem to find a solution.

    Any ideas?
