Dashboard CSS messed up after 2.8 upgrade

    Just did an automatic upgrade to 2.8 from 2.7 on one of my websites. The site’s CSS is displaying without errors, but Dashboard’s CSS is acting screwy: the colors seem right, but the layout and fonts are displaying basically style-less (Almost everything in Times, no columns, etc.). Glitch appears in Firefox and Safari, so I don’t think it’s a browser problem.

    To make matter more annoying, when I look at the CSS files in Firefox Web Developer, Dashboard displays properly.

    Already tried the basic & possibly-applicable solutions like clearing cache, reloading CSS file, etc.

    Any thoughts? Thanks.

    If you’re using Firefox and have Google Gears installed, deactivate/delete this add-on. It’s not compatible with Firefox 3 and can cause problems in WordPress.

    Also try deactivating all plugins and check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, activate the plugins one by one – checking the Dashboard after each re-activation – until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    I don’t have Gears installed and the site doesn’t have any active plugins yet. Also, the Dashboard CSS fails in Safari, too, so I don’t think it’s a Firefox-specific problem. Thanks though.

    I have the same problem. After a format c:, I don’t have Google Gears installed anymore, but I’ve used the turbo mode before.
