# dashboard changed ..

 * not sure what happened .. i go to my site and it looks like it always does ..
   but when i login to my dashboard to do a new post, or any other task, a totally
   different screen comes up .. everything is lined up down the left hand side all
   in a different font .. everything is listed there, but i can’t do anything ..
   the usual dashboard page has somehow disappeared .. ?? .. help! .. i would like
   to do a new post but can’t .. can’t do anything ..

 * actually, that’s exactly what my screen looks like .. thanks, yazz, i’m not sure
   i’d know how to make a ‘screenshot’ .. not very computer savvy .. so .. does 
   anyone know what to do with this?

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.

 * hi, esmi .. i would do what you suggest, but can’t .. if i click on plugins, 
   nothing .. i can click on any of the words in this left hand column, but nothing
   happens at all .. if i can get to the theme outside wordpress how would i switch?..
   in the meantime, i’ll click on this link you sent and see where it takes me ..

 * well .. there’s a language that doesn’t make any sense to me .. and it’s in english..
   went to the link .. it would seem i have a lot to learn ..

 * yes, any idea how to remove this hack? I can’t find it in the files, I only see
   it when I load the page and view source:
