• I already pasted my google analytics code into the header.php file of my wordpress site. I understand that using this plugin I do not need to do that so technically I can remove it. However, if I remove it, will I loose data capturing on the analytics.gooogle.com site? Yes, I want my editor to see the analytics on my WordPress dashboard but I don’t want to lose out on capturing more in depth data on my analtyics.google dashboard. Please advise.

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

Start by following the instructions in this tutorial https://deconf.com/gadwp-empty-analytics-reports/.

You should make sure that the property selected on the plugin settings is the one you used for tracking. Furthermore, if you’re using multiple Google accounts make sure you’re authorizing the plugin using the right account. Also, clearing the entire page cache is mandatory if you’re using a cache plugin/service.
