    Hi all,

Have been happily working on my website until i’ve encountered the following issue.

The following dashboard navigation is throwing up an error. ‘Dashboard’ – ‘appearance’ – ‘menus’.

    Error message.

    Sorry, that didn’t work.
Please try again or come back later.
    504 Error. Gateway Timeout.

    Additional info.
*It seems to be isolated to that navigation only, all others seem fine.
*The website itself is functioning as it should.
*I’m not sure I used the menus tab in dashboard before or at least anytime recently so unsure how long it’s been a problem.
*Have already contacted web host who have done all they can and left it by saying appears to be an issue with wordpress itself.
*I have deactivated all plugin’s and theme to no avail.
*I have re-installed wordpress itself with no joy, before updating it and attempting it again.

Any help on where to go next with this would be greatly appreciated.
    TIA.
    Kane

  • Hey, thanks for the reply, turns out I had some DNS issues, I solved this and then was able to re-save the permalinks, all seems to be ok now so not sure which solved it, dont mind either way.

    Thanks again.

That’s great to hear! Solved is what we’re going for.

Looks like I was logged into my brand account. I’m the one who replied above, FYI.

    Oh hey!
Indeed solved is all we needed, although I’m sure there will be many more issues to get through yet. Lol.

Whichever account, again appreciate the response. That said I just checked out your plugin, I may well swing back round for that when my site is ready.
