 * Would dashboard updating its information every time I log in as administrator
   not be a security and/or privacy issue? You know, it updates the information 
   and no way to avoid it because it loads right when one enters the control panel.
 * Sorry for my ignorance if I offended someone, but, I hate “automatic” things 
   in private areas of my site. I always like to decide what will happen.

 * Do a search for “smaller dashboard” and check the wp-plugins repository – there
   are several around which will stop those feeds….
