Hello.
We have checked your site. Seems like your site has some caching plugin that is making the issue.
From our testing on your site, we can see that your caching plugins is joining all CSS in one file, by doing this, DarkMySite’s color changing CSS is not getting higher priority from the ReaderMode’s CSS.
Can you please test by disabling the caching plugin or disabling the Auto Optimizing CSS feature in your Caching plugin?
Just disable the caching for few moments and then test the reader mode. We are asking you to do that just to understand if the issue is coming from our plugin or not.

Thank you for your support! No, in disabling plug-ins for cache is the same. In the TEST called similar dark mode plugin I had the same problem there. Further other plugins this is also often so. The plug-ins NightEye and Dark Mode Toggle are compliant there, so they also work to the read mode. – The reason that the site so different the functionality, will emerge so specifically. The reading mode is namely an extra to the theme and the CSS separately distinguished. This is therefore very specific and I may wish you further success! Greetings

Hello, the most obvious thing to come to last. The reason is namely the gradient – without gradient, even the reading mode is compliant functionality. So good to know, good luck! – Thanks!
