• I have more than 10 years of experience in WordPress. I had never used this plugin and just now I tried it and it turns out that it screwed up my website 100%.
This happened when I deactivated the plugin after making the changes.
Now it’s time to find out what happened and waste the time that doing it by hand would have cost less.

    Hi @jvazquezl,

I have more than 10 years of experience in WordPress. I had never used this plugin and just now I tried it and it turns out that it screwed up my website 100%.

Apparently, in 10 years of experience with WordPress, you still haven’t learnt that:

    • certain operation (modifying files, database, etc) are extremely dangerous
    • reading plugin’s description before using them is essential (have a look at my IMPORTANT section in my plugin’s description)
    • having a regular backup is necessary

It’s one thing to blame a plugin that your website is screwed up my website 100%. But to be honest, it seems like your missing very important points to me. So I believed it was important to tell you this; otherwise you’ll run into issues again.

This happened when I deactivated the plugin after making the changes.

It definitely didn’t happen after you deactivated the plugin. Disabling the plugin doesn’t have any effect. The only effect the plugin has is when you actually to the renaming.
