# Daily Database Update

 * Hello,
 * I have a client that is having an issue with his WooCommerce site. He’s running
   4.8, and every single day, his database has to be updated, or his customers cannot
   place an order.
 * After the update is done, the Scheduled Actions tab shows everything as complete,
   but the following day, we get the message that the database has to be updated.
 * It’s happening every single day, and I cannot figure out what is causing it. 
   I’ve disabled plugins, double-checked the cron, made sure everything was updated.
   I even changed his theme because I thought maybe it’s because he has an older
   theme.
 * I’ve even clear transients, disabled all caches, etc, etc.
 * Same thing every day. Requires an update. After the update is done his customers
   can place orders again.
 * I’m at a loss.

 * I figured it out. Some reason when pressing update via the wp-admin backend did
   not update the database as it should.
 * I had to run the following command via wp cli
 * wp wc update
 * The database was staying on Database version is 4.5.0, and after I ran the command,
   it updated it to Database version is 4.8.0.
