daily and weekly options

One thing you can do here is create a group in your MailChimp list that gives folks the option to sign up to see those daily or weekly updates from you, then enable that group to show in your form. This can be done from the plugin settings after your group is set up (you’ll need to click ‘Update List’ after making changes as well).

When folks start choosing which types of emails they’d like to receive, you can start segmenting by that information. Details on adding those groups and segmenting to send to within MailChimp can be found below:

One way to add groups to your list in MailChimp is to go to your list > ‘Manage Subscribers’ dropdown > ‘Groups’ > ‘Create Groups’. From here you can choose which groups you want to add to your list and if it will be a checkbox, dropdown, or radio button group.

Aside from that, if you’re looking for insight into the best way to set up your groups and send to segments within your MailChimp account, it would be best to reach out to MailChimp Support directly. Paid accounts can get in touch through the in-app “Help” feature while logged in. Just go to the bottom of any article from there and you should see an option to contact Support.

As for the MailChimp List Subscribe Form Plugin, after you have your groups set up in your list you can make sure they’ll show up in your subscribe form in WordPress by following these steps:

1. Go to ‘Plugins’
2. Click ‘Settings’ under the MailChimp plugin
3. Click ‘Update List’ to bring in your new group field
4. Scroll down to your groups and check the ‘Show’ box for the group you want to show
5. Click ‘Update Subscribe Form Settings’
