# Cute FTP

 * I installed my cute ftp and i cannot log in. I have the host name, user name,
   and password and nothing.
    COMMAND:> [11/30/2011 11:02:56 PM] PASS ***** [11/
   30/2011 11:02:56 PM] 530 Login incorrect. ERROR:> [11/30/2011 11:02:56 PM] Not
   logged in. STATUS:> [11/30/2011 11:02:58 PM] Connection closed.
 * I tried with filezilla and i have the same problem. Firewall is down so what 
   else can it be?

 * The error is due to a incorrect login. It’s related to either a bad password 
   or/and username. Verify your FTP credentials are correct.

 * yes, you are right.
 * I got all the information right. i changed the paswword several times and still
   not working. To log in to wordpress is not a problem, but it is to cute FTP and
   Filezilla. i tried with both.

 * FTP credentials are not the same as your WordPress login credentials. FTP credentials
   would be set up with your hosting provider, either through their interface such
   as cPanel, or given to you by them.
