Support » Theme: Customizr » Customizr will not work on my server?

  • I just loaded up a new domain on my dedicated server, installed a fresh installation of WP and installed Customizr and when I go to customize the site, no changes I make take effect except the title and tag line.
When I make any changes the live screen flickers each time as if to indicate the new changes are updating but no changes are executed in the display pain. If I click “Save and Publish” and then go back and check, all my changes are back to the defaults.

When I go look with PHPMyAdmin, the changes are not updating in the DB either.

I have tried the admin panel in IE, Firefox and Chrome and on different computers from other locations and it’s the same. This indicates to me that it’s something to do with my server configuration.

    Apache 2.2.25
    PHP Version 5.3.17
    MySQL 5.5.32

WP Twenty Twelve and Twenty Thirteen work fine, just not Customizr.

I have spent about 20+ hours trying to make it work and it just wont.

    Any ideas???

  • I’d delete Customizr in WordPress, check it’s all gone through ftp, then start again with a fresh install through the WordPress’s own theme install screens.

Thanks for the suggestion ElectricFeet. I did just that. Lat night I went as far as loading up a new domain in a new hosting account (on my same server) all clean and fresh and new and the exact same thing happens. For some reason Customizr will not run on my server.
I have checked Apache error logs and don’t see any.

I’m lost as to what the issue is.

Well I finally found a little “feedback”. In Chrome, I loaded the developer tools and when I try to make changes in Customizr I am getting this error: – Failed to load resource!

with these warning details as well
“Resource interpreted as Font but transferred with MIME type application/x-font-woff: “”. load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=customize-base,customize-controls,accordion…derscore,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,wp-plupload&ver=3.6.1:2
    (anonymous function)

I’m not sure how to resolve that error or warning but I will keep looking.

If anyone has an idea that would be great.
