Customizr – site too big? Feature buttons and sidebar not in correct location
-
Hey there.
I’m still working on my site but it’s live so people can view and hopefully help me out. Yesterday upon working on it I noticed the three features on the homepage were wonky in that the third is showing below the first two. Same issue with the sidebar on the “Blog” page, the sidebar shows BELOW the posts.
If I zoom out on my web browser to 90% the issue is fixed; however before this I’ve been able to view it at 100% like it normally would. ( I haven’t downloaded any plug-ins between now and then either). People should be able to view the site with their browser regular and not have to zoom out. Anyone know what is causing this? Besides, even if they were zoomed in, the sidebar should still be on the side… not the bottom.
site is: http://arielthehuman.com/
Thanks SO much for any help!

Have seen this before, you’re using SiteOrigin and there is a file widgets.css causing the problem.
I did test it and didn’t have the problem, so need to investigate root cause.
Ultimate Addons for SiteOrigin is the root cause. Will escalate to see if a fix can be made.
Hi @arielthehuman @rdellconsulting
Andrew from SiteOrigin support here. Sorry to hear you’ve run into a problem. The author of Ultimate Addons has made changes to his plugin based on my feedback in the past so hopefully he can correct.
If something directly related to a SiteOrigin plugin comes up, don’t hesitate to let me know.
Hope you’re able to resolve.
Thanks @misplon. The Theme Author will be contacting the Plugin Author. Will let you know when resolved.
Super π Thanks for the update.
@rdellconsulting @misplon Thank you both! I super appreciate it. I’ll be waiting for an update. π
Hi Andrew, I had the same problem, and eliminated SiteOrigin plugins installed and I relocated the CSS code they sent me to set the home page (www.asociacionbienestar.info) was not worth anything, it has not been resolved the problem, please help
link page:
http://www.asociacionbienestar.infoSorry to hear about the hassle.
If you have a problem related to a SiteOrigin plugin or theme I can help out. Unfortunately, if it’s a Customizr or another plugin issue then the respective developer would need to lend a hand.
Hi Andrew, the problem seems to be a complement to plug SiteOrigin Builder, not the plugin itself, the fact is that despite having erased the plugins still have the problem, I guess the key is the “trail” left plugins, but not where they are, do not know HTML or CSS code, I am a nurse and not Informatica, I need you to tell me I should do and where you please.
Have you deleted Ultimate Addons for SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle? To be clear, that’s not our plugin. It’s developed by a third-party developer.
Yes, I deleted
Are you using a caching plugin of any sort? If so, please, clear its cache. The file that @rdellconsulting identified as causing the problem is still being loaded.
(Once this is resolved you should be able to re-install SiteOrigin Page Builder and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, the issue wasn’t coming from those plugins. I don’t mean to go on about this point, we put a lot of work into these two plugins in particular so their proper functioning is important to us.)
Hi @misplon,
it seems that the combination : Customizr theme + SiteOrigin Page Builder + Ultimate Addons for SiteOrigin plugin
leads to some issues as reported here : https://github.com/presscustomizr/customizr/issues/386
what would you recommend to solve this problem ?
Thanks
