Customizr not working properly with child theme

Dear all,

I (correctly) created a child theme from a parent theme using the Child Theme Configurator plugin.
Now, having activated my child theme and trying to open the Customizr, the live preview is not loaded as well as the customizer options from the parent theme.
As far as I am concerned this should be the case, or should I perform an extra step to activate the Customizr for the child theme with the options from the parent theme?
