• HI there,

I’m using WPML to translate my website and I could not get the home page to be translated.

I’ve seen a page with instructions about Polylang, but could not find anything about WPML.

Before I jump in trying to fix it myself, is there already a tutorial on how to make it work? I’d rather not reinvent the wheel.

    Regards

    Eider

It turns out that only the Featured Pages are not featuring the translated pages. Even the demo slider is translated, which is really good.

    Hi @eideroliveira,

    I don’t get the following point :

It turns out that only the Featured Pages are not featuring the translated pages.

Does it mean that there’s a missing translation string for the featured pages when using WPML ?

In this case, I’ll fix this.

    Thanks for your feedback 🙂

I am having the same problem. Please help! My home page is in English and features 3 pages in English. When I set up the translated home page (in French), in the customization menu I select the corresponding featured page in French, and then when I check the website, the English home page also features the page in French. In other words, both home pages (English and French) are pointing to exact same page, not to the corresponding language one.

I gave up on WPML and now I’m really happy with Polylang. Waaaaay faster and easier to use.
