• After updating to Version 2.2.4, my menu drop-downs aren’t working correctly. I can use the drop-down once. After I click on a sub-item, the drop-down no longer appears when I hover over the down arrow.

Also after updating, many (but not all) of my images have disappeared.

I disabled all plugins and still had both problems. I switched from Customizr Pro to Customizr and still had both problems. I switched to the Twenty Twenty theme and did NOT have either problem.

I’ve cleared the cache between every change. I’ve deleted cookies between every change. I have no idea what to try next, except to look for a different theme. I don’t want to do that. 🙁

    Hello,
I’ve been able to reproduce the issue on your site.
It occurs on all page except home.
I’m not able to reproduce the problem with Customizr free or pro out of the box. You can check on the demo site for example, submenus work fine.
So there’s something specific to your site that break submenus. But what ? I can’t say.
Can you confirm that you tried to enable the main theme instead of the child theme ?

Another possibility : sometimes a custom widget code can break javascript on a website.

    I hope it helps

    Thanks for your response!

Yes, I enabled the main Customizr theme, and the main Customizr Pro theme. Just now I re-enabled the Customizr Pro theme, not the child theme, and I’ve noticed that the pages where the images don’t show up are also the ONLY pages where the drop-down menus don’t work.

I’ll take a look at my plug-ins and widget codes.

This looks like a plugin breaking javascript execution on some pages.
    Let me know.

Okay, disabling all plugins and using Customizr Pro, I still had the issue. Moving all of my widgets to inactive got my images and menu dropdowns back. So now I just need to narrow down what widget was messing things up.

THANK YOU so much for helping me narrow this down!

Just FYI, I narrowed it down to my Robly email newsletter signup widget. Thanks again for all your help!
