# customizing WP template with Dreamweaver

 * I’m trying to customize a WP template with Dreamweaver (DW).
 * I’ve installed XAMPP pack, that include MySQL and Apache server. WP is installed
   to.
 * I’ve created a MySQL DB and user. I’ve set up a new site in DW, I’ve defined 
   a connection to the DB just created.
 * What happen is that the very first time I open index.php in Dreamweaver and I
   use the Live View and Live Code options everything is working fine.
 * But this can be done only the firt time. If I close the page and I reopen, live
   mode do not work any longer, and furthermore I can not see the WP template in
   the browser: [http://localhost/wordpress](http://localhost/wordpress) display
   a blank page.
 * Can anyone help me?

 * Might consider using just a [text editor](http://codex.wordpress.org/Glossary#Text_editor)
   to edit those files or use the Theme or Plugin editors available in the WordPress
   admin.
