Support » Plugin: Event post » Customizing the Schema for a Particular Page

  • Resolved pwesling

    I understand how to set/modify the Global Schema that controls what is displayed in a listing of events, and which data appears. But I need an example and details on how to construct and use a modified Schema for a particular page. The Documentation doesn’t explain how to use a customized Schema to display a different “version” of the event list. Can someone provide an example about what such a custom Schema looks like and how to put it on a WP Page?

  • So, does EventPost allow different formats/layouts for different pages? Please say “Yes” or “No”. Thanks!

    container_schema and item_schema are both supported in shortcode (not yet in Block).

    Sadly, quotes (“) inside a shortcode attribute are escaped by the editor. the workaround is to use single quotes (‘) to wrap attribute value.

    [events_list item_schema='<%child% class="custom-event--item %class%" data-color="%color%">
    <a href="%event_link%">

    Hope it helps
