[Plugin: Woocommerce Authorize.net] Customizing the PHP for custom data fields (2 posts)

I'm using the Authorize.net plugin for Woocommerce. I have added custom fields to the Woocommerce checkout that capture data correctly and are included in Woocommerce emails. How do I go about adding these custom fields to the Authorize.net data that is sent?

I'm guessing that this would require editing the PHP and adding the new fields? My concern is if something is incorrect with the coding, then the entire plugin might stop working and none of the data will be sent to Authorize.net.

This is also my first forum post, so apologies if this is in the wrong location.

I should add that the Authorize.net payment gateway has already been taken off test mode and is capturing live data.
