    Hi David,

    That’s definitely possible. Event Rocket itself doesn’t dictate the choice of template, though, this is delegated to The Events Calendar itself.

    So, if you have configured The Events Calendar to use the default events template then that is the one to customize (and/or the specific view template, be that month.php or something else).

    Really this is something where the Themer’s Guide for The Events Calendar is going to be useful – theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide – do also check out this topic for information on detecting if a view is loaded via Event Rocket’s front page mode, which can be useful if you want to conditionally add elements.

    …One other note, The Events Calendar allows you to add HTML before or after event views.

    The interesting thing about this is that there are corresponding hooks so, if you’re comfortable working with WordPress actions and filters, that may provide a nice clean way to add a main blog loop below the event page in this situation 🙂
