Customizing the Footer and Page Color

I hope that in a new version you can come up wit a way to directly, as in Customize, be able to change font, size and color of the text in the footer without having a degree in programing. Also it would be very convenient to be able to change, same way, the color background of the standard page instead of having to use that bright white color that is so tiring for the eyes and again without having a degree in web page design. Thanks for all your efforts and have a successful 2015.
