• Thanks for a great plug-in.

I have been able to customize it as needed with a very few exceptions. Could you please point me in the right direction to answer the following questions?

    In Tabbed Layout:

    Tabs:

How do I change the text?
How do I remove the bullet?
      How do I add padding?

    Related Products:

How do I change the words “Related Products”?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hi Trimm,

Thanks for the compliment! It’s not possible to customize all of the text at this time in the tabbed layout. It just came out as a feature a little over a week ago, and we’re currently in the process of updating the “Options” tab to include more styling and labeling options. Sometime next week we should be releasing an update with the 50+ new styling and labeling options.

For the bullets and the padding, would you be able to post a link to your site? It would depend in part on your theme, as there shouldn’t be bullets by the labels by default.

I didn’t realize it was a new feature. How exciting!

I appreciate you taking a look at my site: http://www.genna-rationsfarm.com/blog/249-2/?&SingleProduct=3

I know my theme is problematic. I hope to iron out the issues and then install a new WP subsite to put the catalog on.

    Thanks again!

So, I have finally had the time to play with the plug-in and I have been able to fix my tabs so they look presentable (to me…I am sure they were fine for everyone else) 🙂 I had to tinker with the css files

Everything is just as I want it, except the words “Product Details” on the first tab. My catalog contains animals for sale from my farm (and people are quite touchy when you use the words product in relation to a living thing).

I was wondering…Is there somewhere I can hard code (I know…makes maintenance difficult) this in one of the php files or the English Language file (or, I may be showing my limited knowledge of WordPress plug-ins…is there even an English language file to change or is it in the main files)?

I was able to change the text for the backend (not that I needed it, but it was a small victory…by changing the labels in the ProductsPage.php file)…that’s all I would like to do for the tab.

I have used the find feature in Notepad on every file in the plug-in directory, but cannot seem to find the label ANYWHERE.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer,
    Tacha

    Hi Tacha,

Actually the labelling for the tabbed product page should be released in a future update. If you could hold on, the feature should come quite soon. If you feel like looking into it on your own, however, the necessary code would be contained in the shortcodes.php file. This file is found in the functions folder (do a search for “tab” and you should find the proper part of the file)
