 * Okay after fighting wordpress for a couple days I sort of have things set up 
   the way I want… The page with all the posts where do I customize how the post
   title/date/poster and the content of the post look. not just with CSS but html
   too. I might want to put the date in stamp looking thing. I dunno yet.
 * Im working off the starkers them and was watching Chris Coyier’s wordpress screen
   cast but he is working off an earlier version of wordpress.

 * I’m sorry you’re having issues getting your site to look the way you want it.
   You can control your font properties through CSS, including the title, date and
   poster:

 * If I understood you correctly about putting the date in a stamp, I found a nifty
   tutorial that should be helpful:
