# Customizing Jetpack Carousel Captions

 * I’m using Jetpack’s carousel gallery to display photos, and it looks great, except
   if I add a caption it appears in a chunky white box over the photo, really ruining
   the elegance of the gallery. I’m trying to figure out how to either:
    1) Change
   the text box the caption appears in to a translucent white 2) Change the text
   box color to black 3) Move the caption below the photo (guessing that this wouldn’t
   be possible since it seems to take the caption out of the gallery entirely)
 * Appreciate any help immensely.
