Hi, I just installed the plugin and am trying out its functionalities. As a front-end developer I like to customize things – colors aren’t enough for me – and I was wondering if it was possible to replace the thumb and link icons? I tried to use icons from my icon font with pseudo elements but as the anchors for the functionality are placed on the img tags with JS (why are anchor tags not being used?) this is not possible. Is there some hook that can be used to replace the icons?

I was also wondering if there was a way to include an overriding template in my theme folder because I’d like to make the HTML a bit more semantic. Or are there separate functions that I could implement in my own theme? Is there any documentation available for developers?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Chintaru,
I’m sorry but there is not any hooks for icons. The only way to change icons in /wpdiscuz/assets/img/ directory.

I was also wondering if there was a way to include an overriding template in my theme folder because I’d like to make the HTML a bit more semantic.

This is also not available yet. We’re working on new UI and are making it better customizeable. The new template system will be added in next major release.

Thanks for the quick reply, I’ll be looking forward to the new template system 🙂
