Customizing Hafniumicy Theme Problems

    I downloaded this free theme (Hafniumicy) and I wanted to customize it. In my current front page, it looks great (what I want the page to look like), however I want a separate blog page where I want new posts to go to when I post a blog. I made the changes in the Reading Setting and now my blog page looks like my front page. This is not good.

    I don’t have much programming skills and so I have been copying and pasting code trying to make the page work. The website is http://www.monkeybitekits.com. I don’t know how badly I have screwed up the code.

    What would you recommend for a person in my position? Should I just pay for a professional theme, and will there still be modifications needed when I pay for a theme? Any feedback would be helpful.

    Is your front page a customized page template? If so, I think you just need to assign this page template to a Home Page and then in the Reading settings, check “A static page” and assign the corresponding pages.
