# Customizing Default Notification email

 * I’m trying to customize the default post notification email. I’ve edited the 
   email-users.php file but it still shows the default text in the email. Does that
   text also exist somewhere else?
 * Any help would be appreciated.

 * There is no need to change the source code in the plugin. You can change the 
   text on the plugin settings page (Dashboard > Settings > Email Users).
 * The plugin will always use the content out of the database and will only use 
   the content in the plugin source code when the plugin is installed the first 
   time. After that initial plugin, the data is stored in the WordPress database
   and the content in the plugin source code is never used again unless you reset
   the plugin settings.
