  • After the update to version 2.2.7, there was a notice: Theme Options have been migrated to customize.

    Now, if Customize is selected, the page loads blank except For the “You are customizing” message.

  • I also noticed that the updates (now 2.2.9) have upset the page loading and inserted an image and text, presumably from the original from the original demo.

    If you read the post above you will see that we had updated to version 2.2.9, which appears to be the last version available. It hadn’t fixed anything. We were in the process of reverting to version 2.2.6 wasting more hours, but after waiting 3 days, the owner decided to use another theme.

    i use version 2.3.0 and the problem still persist

    Just updated to version 2.3.1 and the problem persist:
    No section is visible and editing in the customizer has no effect.
    Did the sections become tout-court a pro-feature , and not just the reorder function as it was before?
    And what happened to the settings backup/restore?

    Hello,

    Is there any solution to this issue? Customizer works fine in version 2.2.9, updated to 2.3.1 and all customizer options are gone. Reloaded backup of 2.2.9 and everything returns to normal. I have tried deactivating all plugins to flesh out if that was the cause, alas there was no change. Please let me know if there has been any solution found for 2.3.1.

    I deleted the frontpage and set up another one, and it is working beautifully.

    I really don’t know what was wrong, but apparently the fault was not in the theme.

    Just one more question: how to backup/restore settings?

    I think there is a general problem with the customizer, it is very slow after migrating the theme options. My browser sometimes breaks, sometimes not, but it takes at least half a minute to load the customizer. So I guess for some users it won’t work at all.

    In my opinion this needs to be fixed by MageeWP, customizer is buggy and the speed not acceptable (while working somehow for me for the moment).
