# Customizer Menu Critical Error

 * “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin

 * Not sure if this is related to recent customizer changes with version 5.4.4 and
   5.4.7

 * It’s a Memory issue.
 * It could be Newsup (I’ve had the same issue with Newsup Pro) or even a Plugin
   you’re using.
 * Best contact your hosts, see if they can increase your Memory limit.

 * I’d rather find and address the root cause than throwing more memory at a problem.
 * I’m not using the pro plugin and didn’t encounter the issue until after updating
   the theme, which is why I’m thinking it’s related to the theme itself.
 * We don’t have many, but I’ll try disabling what plugins we have tied to the customizer
   and see if that narrows things down further.

 * Just letting you know that the memory solution is the solution I was given and
   unfortunately, with Newsup Pro it still happens occasionally. I WAS going to 
   go back to the Free version of Newsup but hearing it has started to happen on
   that one too, well, makes me nervous to change.
