    Hey,
I have some problems with OceanWP Custom Style CSS.

If I change something in the Customizer Custom CSS, this change will not appear in the “…/wp-content/uploads/oceanwp/custom-style.css” file (this file last updated was on 2022-08-08).

I already cleared all cache and so on.

Anybody some ideas how to handle this issue?

Thanks a lot and best regards,
    Michael

  • Hello,

Kindly share the page URL and the code that you are trying.

Also share the related snapshots or a short video of the issue.

In addition, Would you be so kind and go to Dashboard > OceanWP > OceanWP Panel > System Info and share the report with us so that we can take a look?

@abhikr781 Hello and thanks for your replay,

    Description of the problem:

    I added the following code in the Customizer Custom CSS/JS: .br15 { border-radius: 10px; }
But this CSS Code will not appear in the custom-style.css file.

I disabled all caching plugins, tried different browsers in private mode, and so on…

Further, I tried to change some value in the Customizer of the Footer Bottom Area (padding from 12px 0px 12px 0px to now 13px 0px 12px 0px). This changing will also not appear in the custom-style.css file.

Hope someone have some ideas about this problem. Thanks for your support.

    Hello,

Thank you for sharing all the details.

I have forwarded the issue to the concerned dev team to look into it.

Please try to set the “Wp head” via Appearance > Customize > General Options > General Style, and check if that CSS is reflecting on front end or facing the same issue.

Also try to add those custom CSS directly on the custom-style.css file and check.

    Hello @abhikr781,

    thanks for your feedback.

I made the tests like you said.

    1. The CSS change will work after I switch from “own file” to “WP head”. If i switch back to “own file” it will not work.
    2. If I make the change direct in the custom-style.css file it also works.

If I still would like to use the option “own file” how can we handle the problem?

    Thanks for your support

    BR

    Hello,

Thank you for following the steps and getting back to us.

Our dev team fixed the issue and we are testing it. I would request you to download the fixed version of Ocean extra by following the URL, install it in your staging/testing site and check if it is working well or facing the same issue.

PS- Please test this on your staging/testing site not on the live site.

    Hi @abhikr781
I am also having this issue – could I get a copy of the fixed Ocean Extras plugin to try on my localhost site
    thanks
    J 🙂

@jason-kickmouth , you can download the plugin by following the URL.
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ko1hCQqGHUcw0UydZHQgDVbdV_s_kpwR/view

PS- Please make sure to test it on your staging/testing site.

    Hi @abhikr781 – thank you for that…
But it says on google drive “no preview available, file is in owners bin”
Could you make the zip available for download please
    Thanks again
    J

    thanks for that @abhikr781
I’ve installed it into my dev environment and can confirm that it successfully fixes my issue.
Basically, my /wp-content/uploads/oceanwp/custom-style.css?ver=6.0.2 was not being updated and now it is.
Can we have a production version for my live site now please – as it stands at the moment, I need to disable the custom-style.css file and use an additional ‘add css’ plugin – which seems a little unnecessary.
    Thanks for you help
    J

    Hi @abhikr781,

did the Ocean-Extra update version 2.0.5 from today cover this issue?
I already use the update 2.0.5 but it did not fix the issue.

Thanks for your support and best regards,
    Michael

    @ichmachweiter, Apologize for the trouble.
Due to some issue, that fixed not added in the last update.
But A new version with the fixes will release soon.
