 * I am not familiar with the Customized Roles plugin so I couldn’t tell you. There’s
   no way for me to test my plugin against every other plugin in the repo. As long
   as Customized roles does not have its own custom Walker for the nav menus admin
   section then it _ought_ to work. The only way to know for sure is to install
   it and see.

 * It’s not a plugin!
    I mean that if I create a customized role, for example, “
   RETAIL”, so I need to display this role on Nav Menu options.

 * Oh sorry, rough day. The plugin loops through the $wp_roles variable, so any
   properly registered role should show up as an option.

 * Thank you very much for support, I’ll try inmediately.
    It would be a good idea
   to update your features in repository, because of many similar plugins with no
   customized rules support.

 * As far as I know there aren’t other similar plugins. My description is “Hide
   custom menu items based on user roles” I’d be open to suggestions on how to make
   it any clearer than that.

 * I found some similar plugins, but not with this feature, for example:
    – IF MENU

 * Didn’t know that existed. Still, I feel like I’m pretty upfront about my plugin’s
   main feature being that is depends on user roles. I don’t know what else to add.

 * It’s ok.
    Your plugin works perfectly with customized roles. Thanks.

 * I just noticed that you posted in the IF menu forum weeks ago before finally
   finding my plugin. Could you provide any insight into how you were searching /
   what search terms you were using?

 * I could not perform search, because I known IF MENU plugin.
    It would be good
   to add to NAV MENU ROLES some conditional features like other plugin.

 * Maybe, but I will probably keep it simple. It does 1 thing, but hopefully does
   that one thing correctly.

 * Hi! I am using your menu and loving it…except that Its not really working with
   my setup. I created a menu that is only suppoed to show by Role (Customer) but
   it shows up to every role. I am using the latest version: 1.3.4 and WordPress
   3.6. My theme is Twenty Thirteen. Any suggestions??
 * Thanks!

 * [@imclaudia](https://wordpress.org/support/users/imclaudia/), your question would
   probably be better served in it’s own thread. My plugin does not conditionally
   show the entire menu… it only conditionally displays individual elements.

 * Hi Helga, I understand that, but it is not working. I have in one menu 3 items.
   One for anyone and 2 for role Customer only. They all show. I need 2 of them
   to only show to users I assigned as Customer. I thought that was the way it worked?
 * I love it otherwise 🙂
 * Thanks

 * It shows up to any user that has at least the capabilities of that role. For
   example if you select “By role-> Customer”, an Administrator will still be able
   to see that item because she also has the “customer” capability in addition to
   admin capabilities.
