Customize site now working

    Hi
    Just installed the OceanWP theme – super exited – though I can’t get to the customize site option. When I click “Customize” from my site (logged in as admin!) it opens the customize site, but just stays on loading in the Title menu. Nothing else happens.
    Anyone know what to do about this?

    Hello,

    What is your PHP version? Please update to the PHP 7 if it is not.

    Try to disable/enable plugin one by one to check a possible conflict.

    Thanks for quick answer! 🙂

    I deleted all plugins, still not working.
    I cheked “At a glance” and it just says this:

    “WordPress 4.9.8 running OceanWP theme.”

    Would that be PHP7?

    OceanWP works well with PHP 7. And also set PHP memory to 256MB. See the documentation

    Oh By the way. I see that my provider is running PHP version 7.2
    Should I change this to PHP7.0 instead?

    No need to change. It should be greater than PHP 7. Try to activate wordpress default theme (twentyseventeen) and check customizer is working or not, then revert to OceanWP theme.

    Okay. Still on PHP7.0
    Activated the dfault theme – and customizer is still not working.
    Tried to switch browser, but this does not work either 🙁

    Omg so annoying. What could be wrong…

    Your PHP version is okay. Did you increase PHP memory limit? I shared a documentation above about the memory limit.

    Try to contact your host provider.

    My provider does not support that I alter it.
    I will contact them.
