# Customize RSS feeds

 * I want to use the WordPress RSS feeds in my site but I need to wrap them in my
   header and footer. What is the best way to accomplish that?

 * Ok. but I am having trouble with the **[http://domain.tld/your-feed/](http://domain.tld/your-feed/)**.
   Not that I am using that URL but I want to use the one that is created by WordPress.
   How can I get that feed into my page? I can’t seem to find the correct URL to
   get the feed. Thanks

    (presuming
   you have pretty URLs enabled. I guessed this wasn’t your actual domain.
 * It’s odd that you wish to actually use the RSS feed. As your RSS feed is a feed
   of what is already on your website, generally this is only used so that people
   can subscribe to your site via an RSS reader or an external service. That is 
   the purpose of RSS, the syndication of your sites information to another source.

 * You know I am not sure either I am designing the site for a friend. This is my
   first WordPress site. I will have to have a talk with him. Thanks for the input
   and insite.
