Title: 'Customize' page not working Last modified: August 22, 2016 --- # 'Customize' page not working * [eckh20](https://wordpress.org/support/users/eckh20/) * (@eckh20) * [11 years, 4 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/customize-page-not-working/) * I had to do a manual update of wordpress the other day because Make seems to give me issues with updating WordPress and a couple of plugins (e.g. WP SlimStat). I noticed afterwards that the background colour on the site (www.rosewoods.co. uk) had changed from black to grey. I went to the ‘Customize’ page under ‘Appearance’ but the page just loads to a blank grey page (screenshot here: [http://imgur.com/IKnbmfG](http://imgur.com/IKnbmfG)). In the tab title it says it’s loading but I get nothing. Any ideas how I can get the customizer back to I can put the site back the way it was? * Thanks. Sounds like a plugin incompatibility. They are both up to date (no plug-ins installed). I’m having the same issue.
