• Hello! I was trying to add a customized header, with a logo for my site. I couldn’t get my header image to show completely (it is the right size of 1140 width and 152 height. It was cut off, so I started changing the height sizes in this file:

    custom-header.php.

Now, the header image is correct, but it has messed up the navigation.

Any solutions? Or does anyone have the original custom-header.php file so I can start over?

    Thank you!

  • You can download the zip and pull the header.php out to replace on your site.

I was struggling with a custom header also. A co-worker suggested designing the header in program like Publisher and then save as a picture. I did that, and then they took the picture file and put it in photoshop to set the right size. Then saved it again. I then uploaded the photo as a photo for the banner. Left the rest of the banner alone. It looks good!! IT’s a bit of a work-around but I was able to have exactly what I wanted.
