 * When using full color skin you can select a starting color which the app uses
   to create a slightly lighter shade of the color for the title – can that be changed
   to make it darker?

 * I understand your question perfectly, unfortunately it is not possible. The plugin
   uses the opacity of the color to change it.
 * The only thing we could do is customize the plugin for you so this skin allows
   you to choose both the colors in the editor (header AND body).
