Customize author page gives 404 error with paging

    I want a customized author page which doesn’t show the posts, but the things the users add to the website.
    I am able to show those things but I wanted to build in paging.
    But when I go to page 2 it gives a 404 error because it checks the amount of posts which the user has and this is below the maximum posts per page (10). I don’t want it to check the posts, but the things they added to the website.
    Is there anyone who knows how I can solve this?
