# Customised id

 * Hi
 * I’m using Max Mega Menu and I’d like to understand how I can customise the link
   id’s within my menu.
 * Using events my aim will be to track menu clicks amongst other things.
 * Reviewing the source code the menu uses id’s such as ‘menu-item-6008’. Obviously,
   these are none descriptive therefore I’d like to rename them based on the menu
   title.
 * Does anyone have any suggestions?

 * You won’t be able to customise the IDs (WordPress decides what those are), but
   you can add a custom class to your menu items:
