# Customised CSS doesnt apply

 * Hi,
 * I’d like to remove the border and have tried putting codes in the customised 
   css box at other settings as suggested. But the border never disappears..!

   ngg-imagebrowser .pic` element to remove the border? Also, in some cases you 
   may need to add `!important` to the property you are trying to modify.

 * Hi Cais, thanks for the answer.
 * But still doens’t work unfortunately!
 * I found from the firebug the property is inherited from .pic element..
    and I
   wanted to remove the borders on the back/next buttons.
 * Any other comments please? Thanks!
