Customise Page Layout

    CAUTION NEWBIE!

    Ok, just started using WordPress this week, only starting using HTML last October, so be patient please 😉

    What I would like to be able to do is create a customised page for my galleries.
    At present I have two galleries created, they work OK. I have created a Galleries ‘Home’ page, and used the links created for each gallery to produce the thumbnail and see photo>> link.
    All fine.

    However I would like to be able to alter things slightly, if possible (I’m sure it is)
    First I would like to change the size of the font, just for that page.

    Second, I would prefer to have the link images side by side with the text below, I feel it would make better use of the page space and improve navigation. On my original hand coded gallery web page, I used a table, inserting links into each cell. Can I do something similar here?
