    Hi

I am just looking to purchase the pro version but before I do I wanted to see how the event submission form works from the front end.

I have searched and noticed that a few people refer to copying the ‘event-editor.php’ file and then copy that to the theme/plugin/ folder. But I don’t seem to have any such folder under my theme (Divi).

In the pro version is there the ability to edit the layout of the event submission form?

Or where do I change the event-editor file?

    Thanks

  • Another way to look at it, could I create a custom contact form in my Divi template and call the add event function somehow?

I guess the aim is to have a consistent style to my forms and also maybe have two styles of forms depending on the event (eg a charity ball would have different fields to charity golf day)

Any advice on this would be great.

    Hi,

The Pro version includes a Forms Editor which allows you to create different booking and attendee forms for as many events as you like.

Because the Forms Editor doesn’t currently work with the Add Event form manual customizations are needed for that form (like the ones you’ve seen mentioned in forum posts).

This tutorial explains how to create custom templates that are upgrade safe:

    Thanks.

Would love to be this a future pro feature.
