Customify and print.css

Is there a way I can add css for printing without making a child theme?

I tried adding my print css to the custom css section in appearance – customise but it didn’t work.

If I make a child theme it looks like I’ll have to redo my customisations within the child theme and I’d like to avoid that if possible as I have changed a lot.
