  • I am having a serious problem with my e-commerce website.
    I am running a monthly subscription for car air fresheners. I am currently in the 2nd month of business. The first month I have had 48 customers sign up. as of a few days ago, whenever a customer is automatically charged for his renewal, sometime that same night they are being charged 2 more times.

    Customers who have canceled the service– They are not being charged on their monthly anniversary, which is good. But they are being double charged the next day.

    Customers who have switch to a different subscription plan (different cost)– They are being charged the correct amount on their monthly anniversary, but then the next day are charged two more times the amount of their first months subscription cost.

    whenever there is a regular new order, I can see it in the word press dashboard with a new order number. These extra charges do not show up anywhere in WordPress, they do not get picked up by my shipping software.
    The only place i can see the charges when i log into my merchant services account.

    If someone knows whats going on Please help.

    What plugin are you using for the eCommerce and subscription functionality?

    Ok, since that is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    I didn’t do that in the first place because I am afraid the plugin isn’t the problem because the normal subscription order flow is being picked up by word-press and is shown in the orders dashboard. Everything seems normal on woocommerce.

    It can’t be a problem in WordPress, since WordPress doesn’t have that functionality, so the plugin is definitely the right place to ask. πŸ™‚
