The ‘Client’ column you are referencing is just the translated string for ‘Customer’.

These previously existed starting in EDD 2.3, we’ve just made the decision to more accurately represent customer records in the Order and Vendor views in the most recent update.

If you have a customer in the orders view who’s name is a ‘-‘ this just means they do not have a first or last name recorded. We’ll look into making this a little more clear going forward.

You can add names to these customers either yourself by editing the customer record in admin, or have your users fill out their first and last names a checkout or in the profile editor.

    Thank you for your feedback!

I hope to be more specific with this video, the registered user does not appear as clients when assigning a manual purchase

Thank you for the video. I just attempted to do the same thing you did in a vanilla install of EDD, and it worked just fine. I did notice in your video that you are using Frontend Submissions (FES), in addition to other extensions, which are some of our commercial addons, of which requires submitting a ticket to our support form at https://easydigitaldownloads.com/support

Can you please contact us there, so we can get some more detailed information including your system info file, a link to this video so our dedicated support staff can assist you further? We will need to investigate this as a bug in our paid add-ons, as it appears EDD core doesn’t present this same behavior.

    Thanks in advance!
