 * Hi,
 * I would like to know where I can find more information on the managed groups
   extension for customer area?
 * When I go to [http://www.marvinlabs.com/downloads/customer-area-managed-groups/](http://www.marvinlabs.com/downloads/customer-area-managed-groups/)
   I it only tells me that I can assign one or more managers to a group, I would
   like to know the following:
 * 1. Will I be able to create groups with this extension or is another group plugin
   required, i.e. like the groups plugin?
    2. Will I be able to list members in
   a specific group on a private page for a manager/managers to be able to link
   to a specific user in that group, i.e. view that members customer area or fields?
 * Judging from this [Post](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/multiple-users-assigned-to-post?replies=2),
   it seems I will be needing both managed groups and extended permissions?
 * Thanks!

 * Hi,
 * The extension just got published because it was urgently needed by one of our
   clients. That’s why there is not yet a lot of info about it. To answer your questions:
 * 1. the extension adds the possibility to:
    – create such managed groups (like
   groups in Extended Permissions but with managers assigned to the group) – use
   one or many managed groups as the owner of private content (Extended Permissions
   will add other owner types)
 * 2. as of today, this is not yet possible, however, I can implement it rather
   quickly. Would you like it in the form of a shortcode like [show-managed-group
   id=10]?
 * 3. That post does not say much by itself, it all depends on your requirements.
   Maybe you could write a bit more about your requirements on our [pre-sales enquiries forums](http://customer-area.marvinlabs.com/support/forum/pre-sales-enquiries/)
   and I will advise there.
 * PS: when you have questions about an extension from our shop, please ask details
   on our [support forums](http://customer-area.marvinlabs.com/support) because
   the wordpress.org forum is only about the Customer Area plugin itself (just quoting
   what the moderators said to some users who asked the same kind of questions).
