I’m running a intranet website but i want to use some custom roles too assign security groups to. Its only possible to assign the default 6 groups now. i have add some groups but the don’t display in NADI in the permissions tab.

Do i need to add some custom code to the plug-in to make this work ? or is there some other solution for this problem?

  • You could use the User Role Editor plugin or the Simple Intranet plugin to add custom roles.

Thanks for your answer, but i added some custom roles already but what i want to happen is. That i have a user role Help-desk whit some custom permissions set. if i add people to the securty group helpdesk_users in the AD that the get the WordPress role Help-desk. Now its only possible for the default wordpress roles like Administrator,Subscriber, author. but the custom role Help-desk is not in that list in the permissions tab. I hope someone can help me out here!

This is possible as of version 2.0.7.
