    Hi,

I am looking for the ability to do something that seems rather simple. I have a custom plugin that I would like to create a widget for. Basically I just want to create the widget by naming it, selecting an icon for it, and then specifying a link that it would go to when clicked on. I noticed that I could customize the webmaster widget by adding new tabs, and I could just put the link in there, but that is extra clicks that I would like to avoid. I would just like the one large widget on the dashboard to be able to be clicked on which would then take the user to the link (within the admin panel) I have set up for it.

This is basically what I have now (done through webmaster widget):

I would like when that Project Manager widget is clicked on, it will take the user to the Project Manager area of the backend (which you can see on the left)

Any way to currently do this with your plugin?

    Thanks.

An issue on your GitHub that is exactly what I am looking for:

Of course, I absolutely love this idea. I’m hoping to include it in the next release. Thanks for mentioning your interest in it as it validates that idea for us and confirms my belief that someone would want the feature. Let us know if you have any other ideas!

Thanks! I love the large widget blocks, very modern, very clean, and clients love it. I appreciate the work you put into this. I look forward to this feature.

We are planning on allowing this for sure, so keep an eye out for the update! But in the meantime, I’m going to mark this thread as resolved.

    Thanks for your input good3n!
